John Dubois of The First Academy (Orlando) claimed individual medalist honors after birdieing the first playoff hole at the 2018 Class 1A Boys Golf State Championships. Windermere Prep (Orlando) took the team title.

In the school's first title game appearance since 1965, Plant City defeated local rival Strawberry Crest (Dover) 3-1 to capture the Class 8A crown and it's first ever baseball title at the 2019 state championships in Fort Myers.

Winter Springs defeated Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton) 3-0 to claim the school's first ever softball state championship in the 2019 Class 8A Softball State Championship Game in Vero Beach.

Lake Highland Prep (Orlando) outlasted Immaculata-LaSalle (Miami) 6-5 in PKs (1-1 draw in regulation) to claim the Class 2A title at the 2019 Boys Soccer State Championships that were held in DeLand.

Palmer Trinity (Palmetto Bay) defended its throne, going back to back by clinching the school's second straight boys soccer title over Shorecrest Prep (St. Petersburg) at the 2019 Class 1A Boys Soccer State Championships.

Lake Gibson (Lakeland) went back to back, claiming the 2019 Class 2A Individual Wrestling State Championships during the event in Kissimmee.

Tampa Bay Tech defeated St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) 58-52 to claim the 2019 Class 8A Girls Basketball State Championship, the school's first title in the sport.

In a rematch of the 2018 title game, American Heritage (Plantation) cruised to a 3-0 victory over Seabreeze (Daytona Beach) in 2019 to claim the school's second straight Class 3A Boys Soccer State Championship.

Dwyer (Palm Beach gardens) upended the five-time defending champion Apopka in the 2019 finals to claim its first ever boys bowling state championship at Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando.
