Can softball players wear metal cleats?
Yes. (NFHS Rules 3-2-11) Players permitted to wear metal cleats and metal toe plates.

Is the FHSAA pitching distance for 2007-2008 40 feet or 43 feet?
The FHSAA has applied to the NFHS for a third experiment at 43 feet. As soon as the FHSAA receives its response from the NFHS regarding the application, an announcement will be made. Please continue to watch the FHSAA webpage, particularly "headlines," for details.
